Despite the ugly weather and stupid quiz for Challenge and Change, i had a pretty good day.
1. Haitian dancers.
Those people just totally blew me away. The presentation was so effective that Julia and I just had to run downstairs to hug the little kid right after first period. Julia got a necklace and magnet for....$15? i think... But yeah, i loveeeeeee the entire presentation, how i wished i was that black girl who was holding the little dude. I wanted to defend that kid. THAT'S HOW EFFECTIVE THE PRSENTATION WAS.
2. Sound of Music.
I went to the sound of music musical today with ms boss and her grade 10 vocal class, because she had a few extra tickets so she decided to invite me and kieran to the musical (can't thank her enough for that.). The musical was awesome, singers were awesome, the KIDSSSSSSS were just plain hilarious. Even though there were some technical difficulties near the end, but it's completely alright. still really good.
I hope Jestine is reading this, this girl (who got into a fight with peter during awards night) went to the musical too, and she happened to sit beside kieran and oddly she fell asleep and she fell asleep so deeply that she was snoringgg sooooooooooooooo loud that even this guy who sat beside me was complaining about it too. Therefore, kieran and i decided to use different methods to wake her up for instance, clapping hands extra loud, or *coughing*. soo that obviuosly didn't work. So kieran ended up kicking her to wake her up, and afterwards, she was whining so loudly about the fact that she was so tired and blah blah blah. I love how she said "yeahh i love the show" during intermission when ms boss was asking about how much we are enjoying the musical. funnnay. and she completely just swayed her sweater onto this guy's head before she fell asleep. Met some cool kids, became friends, and had a pretty fun ride back. But i am exhausted right now though.
3. Ms Comoyoung :).
So while ms C was driving us back, since i was sitting rigth behind the driver's seat, her and i were talking about university applications and such. She suggested to me that i should apply for this scholarship for pianists, and people who want to focus deeper on the music field, she said i have a very high chance of getting the scholarship, which obviouly, i am flattered. I am happy that she has faith in me and providing more references for me to put on my resume in order to get in to the university i want. I am going to get the application form from her tomorrow and talk to her about the scholarship tomorrow, hopefully everything is going to work out smoothly :).
Missed the laurier presentation today... but whatever, i am sure i didnt miss much.
Hopefully the weather is going to be better tomorrow.
